After graduating from the University of Mississippi, Lucas Boyd immediately entered into the insurance community. After excellent opportunities to run the marketing department for an emerging Dallas insurance company and helping create a captive insurance agency for that company’s owner, Lucas joined forces with Mike Boyd and Tim Shackelford and was one of the founding members of Boyd, Shackelford, Barnett & Dixon.

Since, Lucas has emerged as an owner focused on new client growth, retention, and agency management. Lucas also brings a next-generation approach to delivering a better policyholder experience and attracting exceptional talent to the organization.

Lucas and his wife Aliya live in Prosper with their two children, Swayze and Deacon.
