An industry veteran of more than 30 years, Tim was an original founder of the Firewheel Insurance Agency of Garland, Texas, with partners Mike Boyd, Don Barnett and David Barnett. That partnership served as the cornerstone of Boyd, Shackelford & Barnett, where Tim is tapped as a respected insurance and risk management resource by oil & gas, construction and manufacturing businesses throughout North Texas.

Originally from Independence, Missouri, Tim ruled on both the high school and college courts. In his free time, Tim, wife Bonnie and their two daughters enjoy traveling, sports and doing community service projects together as a family at Prestonwood Church, Plano.
