Greg has more than 35 years’ experience, including past excess and surplus brokerage, production, and sales management with Employers Insurance of Texas. After his tenure with Texas Employers, Greg joined Sleeper, Sewell & Company, where he was an agency principal. At Sleeper, Sewell, and its successor firm, ANBTX, Greg enjoyed his role as one of the top property, casualty, workers compensation, and professional liability brokers in the firm. For many years Greg also designed and managed the Sleeper, Sewell mentoring program to assist new brokers as they entered the insurance business.

Greg has had great success serving manufacturers, distributors, nonprofits, and the construction industry. Greg loves helping clients solve complex problems. He is comfortable working with all sizes of commercial accounts, and he has great familiarity with complex rating plans and programs to assist larger businesses, including retrospective rating plans, large deductible/SIR options, layered property programs, and various captive arrangements.

Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mississippi State University and held the following professional designations: Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).

During his free time, Greg enjoys time at the gym. Greg is an avid reader, and he is enthusiastic about travel. Greg and his wife enjoy hiking at our national and state parks while traveling in their little Casita trailer.
