With over 30 years in the insurance brokerage business, and a Degree of Insurance and Risk Management from the College of Insurance (Now St. John’s University), Joel applies his high touch approach within his main focus areas of Hospitality, Golf Related Entities, Non-Profits and other Commercial Insurance Sectors.  This high touch philosophy, along with his partnership approach (Client, Broker, Insurance Carrier), allows his clients to be part of the process, rather than an institutionalized solution.

In his spare time, Joel enjoys spending time with his wife Desha, and their three children Savannah (24), Madison (21) and Jake (14).  Also, he enjoys a good laugh with friends over a nice glass of whiskey and BBQ!
